SONOMA COUNTY
CHARDONNAY
Chardonnay Label

Our Sonoma Chardonnay is blended from grapes grown in the major growing regions of Sonoma County, including Russian River, Alexander Valley and Dry Creek.   We use a blend of several different and unique clonal selections of Chardonnay to create this luscious wine.   Sonoma Chardonnay is comprised of barrel fermentation, malolactic fermentation and new oak.   Over the last seven years, our Sonoma County Chardonnay has been consistently recommended by major wine publications and wine writers.   Full-bodied and rich with oak and fruit flavors, the wine is lush on the palate and a great compliment to your favorite foods.

Rabbit Ridge Sonoma Chardonnay 1998 $12

Although coming up just short of the depth needed to capture a one-star rating, this rounded, well-ripened and wholly amicable wine is a pleasure to drink, and it has better fruit and a bit more interest than we have been seeing at its price point.

Rabbit Ridge Sonoma Chardonnay 1989 $16

A very stylish wine, with lots of vanilla and spice aromas, rich buttery flavors and a lingering finish. A bit short on fruit flavor, but very appealing nonetheless.
