This Merlot is from my favorite hillside vineyards in Alexander Valley, Dry Creek and Carneros.   Judicious additions of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, combined with months in American oak barrels, produce a big unforgettable, full bodied wine.   Characteristics you will find in this Merlot are lush, rich fruit, sweet oak and balanced tannins which will allow the wine to age gracefully.
