Pinot Noir is one of the most interesting red wines in the market.   It is a temperamental grape to grow and it is very difficult to make into an exceptionally good wine.   However, at it's best, it is much lighter and has fewer tannins than many of the other red wines, like Cabernet Sauvignon.   Our Barrel Cuvee Pinot Noir comes from the well known areas of Carneros, Russian River and Monterey.   This fragrant and delicate wine is perfect with pasta, poultry, lamb, and duck dishes, or simply by the glass.
