On May 1st we celebrated our official opening of the
Rabbit Ridge Paso Robles Winery with a tasting, tour and celebration
of 22 years in business. Invited guests included all employees
and owners of local wineries and restaurants in addition to local business
affiliates who contributed to the construction of our new facility.
We enjoyed media coverage from the local NBC affiliate; appearing
on the 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. news, as well as several write-ups in local
newspapers.
Our 250 guests were offered guided tours and an evening of wine tasting. Everyone enjoyed a variety of our wines including Winemakers Grand Reserve Cabernet, Erich Russell Merlot, Sonoma Chardonnay, Montepiano and Allure. We also introduced our new 2001 Paso Robles Zinfandel and Primitivo. Each of our family members and managers hosted a station and poured wines for our guests. Robert, our Director of Operations manned the Primitivo Station and was the star of the event until Erich pulled out the Paso Robles Petite Syrah. These new wines were the hit of the night.
