Paso Robles, CA. The Rabbit Ridge team is getting excited and gearing up for the 2005 harvest season.

According to Erich Russell, founder and winemaker of Rabbit Ridge, "In looking at last year's harvest dates, the amount the grapes are behind where they were at this same time last year, and the fact that we're seeing a larger crop, it looks to me that we will begin harvest and crush around the week of August 29th.   If the grapes behave as they did last year, we will start with Sauvignon blanc from our San Marcos Road Cristalla Vineyard, then Chardonnay from our Live Oak Vineyard, followed by our Estrella Syrah from our Cristalla Vineyard."

All in all we're looking forward to a great year!
