PASO ROBLES, Calif. (December 22, 2003) - On December 22, 2003 at approximately 11:15 a.m., a 6.5 earthquake shook Central California. The earthquake was centered in San Simeon which is only 30-40 miles Northwest of Paso Robles.   Luckily, the Rabbit Ridge winery suffered very little damage.   Six barrels fell off their racks but 3 1/2 barrels worth of wine was saved.   We felt very lucky and our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the two women that were killed in downtown Paso Robles.
