WINEMAKER'S COMMENTS
At Easter time each year The Rabbit produces a Bunny Cuvee wine to be distributed to a small number of states. However this particular Bunny Cuvee was blended off-season and is only available to our wine club members. The wine is approximately 60% Bordeaux varietals (Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Verdot, Cabernet Franc) blended with approximately 40% Petite Sirah. All of the grapes in this special blend were harvested in 2004 and 2005 and come from our Live Oak Road Vineyard. The wine was aged in 100% new oak barrels and is totally natural with only yeast added to assist in the fermentation process. This wine was bottled on November 7, 2006 and should age well for a long time. A wine club exclusive! Visit the "Awards and Reviews" page on our website for a complete list of awards on our wines. |
