VINEYARD PROFILE
The 2007 Paso Robles Zinfandel O.V.Z. Reserve is produced primarily from grapes grown on our Cristalla Ranch vineyard which surrounds the main winery on San Marcos Road. The vines from this vineyard are from an old clone that was grafted for Rabbit Ridge. WINEMAKER'S COMMENTS Our legendary Rabbit Ridge Old Vine Zinfandel, or "O.V.Z." is produced from our finest vineyards on the west side of Paso Robles, California. Less than one ton of grapes per acre were picked for our O.V.Z., creating a rich, concentrated, jammy reserve Zinfandel. This is the first year since 2003 that we felt the grapes were of high enough quality to produce another O.V.Z. Bottled July 25, 2008. Only 394 cases produced. TASTING NOTES Our Paso Robles O.V.Z. is a rich, concentrated, jammy reserve Zinfandel blend. You will enjoy lush flavors of strawberry, blackberry, raspberry and rose petals.
