VINEYARD PROFILE
This very special reserve Pinot Noir is produced from grapes grown on our Live Oak Road vineyard in the hills on the north side of Highway 46 West.   This vineyard is one of the highest in Paso Robles, located at 1,600 feet elevation.   The Live Oak vineyard's heavily adorned limestone soil and cool Pacific fog drifts create the perfect setting for growing this rich Pinot Noir made from French Dijon bud wood clones 114, 115 and 777.

WINEMAKER'S COMMENTS
This wine is 100% Pinot Noir and was fermented in small bins and punched down by hand.   The wine was then aged in French and American barrels for approximately 17 months.   We crafted this Pinot in a "Burgundian style" that is both dark and floral.   The wine is totally natural with no acid added and no fining.   Only 129 cases of this very special reserve wine were produced.

TASTING NOTES
Characteristics you will enjoy are full-bodied black cherry, berry and violet.
