WINEMAKER'S COMMENTS
Our Rabbit Ridge "Vortex" was named for the powerful hurricanes that swirl through Florida.   A "vortex" is a circular motion of a hurricane, or the swirl of wine in a glass.   Vortex is made from a blend of red wine grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petite Verdot, Petite Sirah and Syrah.   For optimum grape quality we planted the vines three feet by six feet and maintain low picking yields of fewer than two tons per acre.   This wine was barrel aged in 100% French oak for approximately 19 months.     Only 375 cases produced.

TASTING NOTES
Enjoy rich flavors of blackcurrant, dark cherry, raspberries and violets.
