VINEYARD PROFILE
Our Rabbit Ridge Reserve Estate Zinfandel was produced from grapes grown on our Texas Road Vineyard.
This vineyard connects uphill with the Cristalla Ranch vineyard (where our winery is located) and
continues further north. Planted from bud wood obtained from a century old vineyard in the Dry Creek
Region of Sonoma County, this vineyard's yields are kept low with only one cluster per shoot, and six shoots
per vine. The result from this method of farming is an intense, concentrated wine.
WINEMAKER'S COMMENTS This wine was barrel aged in American and French oak for approximately 8 months. Bottled August 8, 2007. Only 207 cases produced. Visit the "Awards and Reviews" page on our website for a complete list of awards on our wines. |

TASTING NOTES
The exceptional fruit-forward palate in this wine reveals concentrated ripe blackberry, cherry and currant followed by hints of herb, spice and vanilla. This is a smooth, velvety Zinfandel graced with balanced tannins and bright acidity. Enjoy our Reserve Zinfandel with a variety of rich and spicy foods.
